How GHRP-2 works
A synthetic hexapeptide agonist at the ghrelin receptor. It is a more potent GH releaser than GHRP-6 with less appetite stimulation, and unlike most compounds in this category it has a genuine diagnostic use.
GHRP-2 dosing schedule
GHRP-2 is approved in Japan as pralmorelin for use as a diagnostic agent in growth hormone deficiency testing. That is a single-dose provocative test to measure pituitary response — it is a diagnostic procedure, not a treatment course.

Reconstitution and measurement
This part is arithmetic and does not depend on the evidence level. Concentration is vial size divided by the bacteriostatic water you add. Draw volume is your target amount divided by that concentration. Units are draw volume times 100, because a U-100 syringe reads 100 units per millilitre. Reported effects
- In diagnostic use, transient flushing and a metallic taste are commonly described.
- Ghrelin-receptor agonists raise cortisol and prolactin to varying degrees; GHRP-2 does so less than GHRP-6 but more than ipamorelin.
- No approved repeated-dosing indication exists anywhere.
