Mixing, color & storage tips

Read the vial label carefully

The single most common error with this compound is a scale mistake. A 0.1 mg vial holds 100 mcg in total — one hundredth of a 10 mg peptide vial. Entering 0.1 where the tool expects milligrams is correct; entering 100 because the label also says 100 mcg will overstate the vial by a thousandfold. The unit toggle exists to make this unambiguous.

The whole vial is one or a few draws

Because the vial total is 100 mcg, a 20 mcg target uses a fifth of it. Reconstituting with 1 mL gives 100 mcg/mL, so 20 mcg is a clean 20 units — the arithmetic is unusually tidy at this concentration, which is why it is the common choice.

Mixing a tiny quantity of powder

There is very little solid in the vial and it can be hard to see. Add the water slowly against the inside wall, swirl gently, and inspect against the light to confirm it has dissolved. Do not shake.

Storage

IGF-1 LR3 is less robust than a short peptide. Keep the dry powder cold and dark, refrigerate once reconstituted, protect it from light, and plan around a limited usable window. Do not freeze a mixed vial.
