How Dihexa works
A small angiotensin IV analog developed to be orally active and blood-brain-barrier penetrant. It is reported to potentiate hepatocyte growth factor signalling at its c-Met receptor, and rodent work describes synaptogenesis.

Reconstitution and measurement
This part is arithmetic and does not depend on the evidence level. Concentration is vial size divided by the bacteriostatic water you add. Draw volume is your target amount divided by that concentration. Units are draw volume times 100, because a U-100 syringe reads 100 units per millilitre. Common vials for Dihexa: 10 mg.

- No human safety data of any kind.
- Because the proposed mechanism runs through HGF/c-Met, a pathway with roles in cell growth and proliferation, the long-term safety question is not trivial and has not been studied.
